Born
in Savannah, Georgia, Amanda
graduated from Georgia Southern
University with a Bachelor of
Arts in Philosophy in 2001. She
graduated from Florida Coastal
School of Law in 2005 and became
a member of the Florida Bar in
2006. After law school, Amanda
represented the Florida
Department of Children and
Families involving cases of
child abuse and neglect.
Amanda soon moved back to
Georgia and became a member of
the Georgia Bar in 2009. She and
her husband, Ben, have a
daughter, Sarah Grace, and a
son, Connor. Amanda primarily
represents employers in
defending workers’ compensation
claims. She also assists
disabled children and adults
in obtaining Social Security benefits.
Amanda is a member of the
Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity,
the State Bar of Georgia, the
State Bar of Florida, Dougherty
Circuit Bar Association, and the
United States District Court for
the Middle District of Georgia.
